'When India Meets Suriname' Workshop
25th May 2019

Visit this unique collab cooking workshop from Paulami www.spicetrip.nl & Jennifer Jessica www.surinaamskokenmetjen.nl

Both the Indian kitchen and the Surinamese kitchen is a tasteful kitchen! What if we fuse these 2 kitchens together and teach you the finest tricks from both kitchens ?!

About Me:

I am from India and have been living in Almere since 2017.

My passion for genuine Indian food started with teaching the long-lost traditional and healthy cooking style. I believe that Indian food is often misinterpreted as a spicy and warm kitchen, but the real flavors are often missing.

Through Spice Trip with Paulami I teach and try to advance Indian food in the Netherlands.

A large number of participants have already been introduced to the preparation of Indian cuisine through the cooking workshops.

During the ” When India Meets Suriname ” workshop it is time to teach YOU the finest intricacies of Indian cuisine alongside Surinamese cuisine!

I will be using 3 main ingredients during this workshop and cooking it in the Indian way:

Eggplant
lentils
Chicken

About Jennifer Jessica:

Jennifer Jessica (Jen) was born in Suriname and came to the Netherlands at the age of 1.

She learned how to cook from her grandmother and developed a great passion for Surinamese cuisine.
After vlogging different recipes on youtube it was time for the next step.

September last year she launched her first book: Surinamese cooking with Jen. In this cookbook she shows how you can put a tasty Surinamese meal on the table.

Think of recipes such as pom, roti, pasties and Surinamese cookies.

During the ” When India Meets Suriname ” workshop it is time to teach YOU the finest tricks of Surinamese cuisine.

During this workshop Jennifer also uses the following 3 main ingredients:

Eggplant
Lentils / split peas
Chicken
