Potatoes have been known to be the sinful, weekend, forever favorite snack always maybe known to man kind. Haha! I know it was a little too exaggerated. Potato fries, wedges, curly fries, hash browns, crisps all are something that you would love to munch on whenever given a chance, I am sure. Presenting ultra crispy potato wedges… ta-da!

What if I gave you a super easy, guilt-free potato wedges recipe which will make your weekend sport games, movie evening or dinner events at home super fun. You really just need very few ingredients to make this dish. I paired the crispy potato wedges with sriracha mayonnaise (mix sriracha sauce with mayonnaise to make this dip). I like my wedges with the skin as I love it when it crisps up.

I made mine using the super easy Princess Air Fryer and just loved how easy and less fussy this dish turned out to be. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake/grill it in an oven as well at 200C for 35 mins.

Do you also like your potatoes as crispy potato wedges? Give this one a try and let me know in comments below how you like it.

Instructions
  1. Preheat air fryer to 190°C. Line an aluminium foil and spray some oil and set aside.
  2. Cut each potato in half lengthways, then cut each half in half lengthways again, and then cut each half in half lengthways again until you have 8 wedges. (Make sure they are about the same thickness and size). It is easy to use large potatoes for convenience.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the oil, garlic, salt, pepper and paprika and mix everything well. Place wedges onto the aluminium foil.
  4. Arrange potato wedges in a single layer on the tray, skin-sides-down. Bake for 20 minutes, turning wedges half way through baking time, until golden, crisp and cooked through when tested with a fork.
  5. Sprinkle with some more pepper and sea salt flakes (optional) to serve. I served this with sriracha mayo.
