This was one of the best highlights of 2018 so far, getting invited at the Grand Blogger Dinner 2018 by Mr. Goodie Bag. The event was held at the super magnificent and grand Intercontinental Amstel Hotel in Amsterdam.
We began our evening with aperitifs like champagne and rosé paired with some amazing chocolates by Godiva. I loved their Blood Orange flavor which was a great pair with the Rosé for me.
And did I not mention this before, this was an exclusive event for only 40 Bloggers across the Netherlands. It was such a great opportunity for me to meet fellow bloggers like Ces Kitchen, Annie Pannie, My Happy Kitchen and so many others.
Soon we were all invited to the ‘Speilzaal’ the prettiest hall in the hotel for our dinner with our names written on the menu. The event began with a great introduction and some tasty water by Chaudfontaine followed by several rounds of wine across the evening by Wijnkring
This was followed by one of the best short ribs of my life by Chef José Polonio from Kookmuts which was cooked to perfection and served with Orzo Pasta, Parmesan Cheese and more wine 🙂 I can’t wait to try this recipe at my end but I am sure I wont be able to replicate it 100%. The next main course was Salmon with Lemon Salsa served with some great selection of Chardonnay.
Finally we ended the evening with some Koupe salted Caramel. If you haven’t tried Koupe’s ice cream yet then you totally should. I am so excited to find their high protein, less fat version of Ice Cream which tastes like a real original Ice Cream.
The evening ended with some fun photos with all our few blogger friends with the hope of seeing each other soon and we all were gifted with some heavy duty Goodie Bag which had some amazing products. The best out of that for me is the chopper by Tefal
