Ayurvedic Vegan Workshop

Ayurveda is the art of using natural sources for better living. Food is one of the most important source of nutrition for our body and through this workshop know more about the type of doshas and the food types and spices which suit these different type of doshas.
Indian Food is known for the use of spices and herbs giving it the most unique taste which is not always spicy or sweet or salty but a mixture of all. Join this workshop how flavours can make your mouth water and want more.
In this workshop we will explore the land of South of India – Kerala (God’s Own Country) which is also known as the Ayurvedic capital of India. The recipes are all vegan and are heavily coconut based.
Group Workshops are for a close group of 6 to 8 participants only. And each participants gets the opportunity to try the dish 100% hands-on. The recipes are explained step-by-step with required caution that needs to be taken at your end.
Neer Dosa, a thin, soft and lacy crepe made from rice better is a popular food item in South India. Neer stands for water. This is the easiest flat pancake made and paired with curry or chutneys.
Kadala curry/ Black chickpea curry in a deliciously smooth spiced roasted coconut gravy along with puttu/steamed rice cakes. It goes well with Neer Dosa or Rice too.
Coconut Rice or Chemmeen Choru is a popular dish from Kerala. Rice is flavored with minimal spices and added with a tempering of slightly roasted coconut, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Malabar style Vegetable Stew or Veg Ishtu is made with a bunch of different vegetables all together and spiced with coconut, curry leaves and black pepper. It goes perfect with rice or dosa.
Chutneys are way of life in India. And there is no dosa that doesnt go with a chutney. We would be making a green and a white coconut chutney tempered with some spices.
