One of the classic Punjabi Dhaba style recipe which is just so so easy to be made at home. Just follow these easy steps and I am sure you will be loved by your family and friends once again!

- 500 gms Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
- 100 gms Frozen/Fresh Green Peas
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 1 large Tomato (diced)
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 6-7 pieces Cashew Nuts
- 4-5 pieces Almonds
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Powder
- Fresh Coriander Leaves for garnishing
- 3 tbsp Oil
- Salt to Taste
- 1 Tbsp Dried fenugreek leaves (Kasuri Methi)

- Firstly make a quick paste of onion, tomatoes, garlic and ginger. In a little oil in a pan, temper some cumin seeds and add this paste.
- Saute the paste on medium flame for 10 - 12 minutes till it gets thicker. Then add the ground masala of turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and garam masala.
- In a blender add cashews and almonds to make a smooth paste to add to the thickness of the gravy. Add this mixture to the pan and stir everything well on a medium flame for another 10 minutes. Add water if the gravy gets too thick.
- Add fresh or frozen green peas and diced paneer cubes to the gravy. Incase of using frozen green peas, they should be thawed well in luke warm water for atleast 10 mnutes before adding them to the gravy.
- Let the gravy along with the peas and paneer simmer under a cover and medium flame with ocassional stirring for 10 - 15 minutes. And finally finish it with kasuri methi and fresh coriander leaves.
Perfect companion for this is Tandoori Rotis, Naan or even Jeera Rice (Cumin Rice)
