Do you have friends coming over for drinks over the weekend and you are not sure what to make for a dip. Try Mango Feta dip which can be made in just 5 mins. And the best part is that it needs only 3 ingredients. Isn’t that cool. Once you make this dip, there is no looking back. This dip is thanks to my foodie friend Annie Pannie.NL who is the creator of this dip.

What is the most important thing for this dip is to get a really sweet or super ripe mango. Any amount of rawness will change the flavor profile completely. There is no substitute for Feta as it comes with a creaminess and saltiness. Replacing it with any other cheese might not work. But if you do try, let me know 🙂 This dip goes well with cookies, fries, bread or any thing that you would like to present for your starter. In the Netherlands there is a big tradition of creating ‘borrelplank’ when you invite your friends over for drinks and snacks generally in the evening. There are a number of types of cheese, sweet and savory items displayed and this dip will fit perfectly in that case.

Instructions
  1. In a blender, add all the ingredients and give it a good mix till it turns out smooth. You can store this dip in an airtight container upto 2-3 days. Once exposed outside, try to consume it immediately.
