A very tasty Peanut powder which will go very good, This chutney podi prepared with peanuts along with few spices can be stored for a one or two months. 

Peanut Chutney also commonly known as Palli Pachadi or groundnut chutney is a super, creamy, slightly sweet, mildly spiced versatile accompaniment to any south Indian breakfast dishes like Idli, Dosa, Vada or pesarattu, upma, pongal etc. There are various recipes and styles of making this, but this is my version of it which I totally love.

While eating it just add few drops of hot oil or ghee and make it a great side with dosa or idli and vada and enjoy!

Instructions
  1. In a pan dry roast peanuts on a medium flame till they start getting crunchy. This should take around 7 - 8 mins and then keep it separately in a bowl.
  2. In the same pan, dry roast sesame seeds, dry coconut powder, chana daal, dry red chilli, curry leaves. (You could add oil to this though I prefer not to.)
  3. Let all the ingredients cool down before transferring it to the grinder.
  4. In a grinder, add the contents of the pan when cooled down along with roasted peanuts and chana daal, sugar and salt.
  5. Grind it to a fine powder and now store it in an airtight container. Serve it as a chutney for idli or dosa topped with ghee or oil.
