It is fall season and some amazing fruit and vegetables are around! Last week was visiting a friends home in Lelystad which isn’t very far from the city where I live in The Netherlands and they had this amazing apple tree from the neighbors facing their garage! And ofcourse we plucked a lot of apples (the neighbor asked us to – we didn’t steal, haha!). I think we easily took some 5 kgs of apples among 3 of us and they are so sweet and juicy. The first thing that comes to mind when I see a sweet and juicy fruit like that is a jam and that’s how Apple Cinnamon Jam happened.

That’s me stealing away apples 😉
This is a vegan, gluten-free jam and the house is filled with such delightful fragrance. Cinnamon has that amazing, aphrodisiac feeling that it brings in with it and yes the much needed warmth in anything that you add it to. Apple Cinnamon Jam will be that perfect fall recipe using these fresh apples around everywhere.
I topped it with some really fresh cranberry, pumpkin seed, walnut bread from the local baker and this combination along with some hot cocoa will make you want to snuggle into your sheets 🙂
